Coping is important. Learning to cope helps us to weather the storms that come with life. But who will we be if cope ourselves away?
Will we not hear ourselves and go on the quest to understand the questions that seem to bubble up within us now and again?
Is this right? Am I living well? Have I changed...would I like to? Do I still want this? What am I really feeling? What are these thoughts about? What decisions do I need to make?
Coping is necessary. But when life beckons, sometimes in the form of anxiety, despair, and dissonance, let's not only cope but listen, engage, recalibrate, grapple, and live.
